BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. Flight 150

If you recall several years ago, a CD was released called Blue & White. It featured Ateneo bands who did alternative versions of the school cheers.

Flight 150 is the new version. Featuring bands from the Ateneo Musicians Pool (AMP) -- 88mph, Eruen, Hidden Nikki, Thought Prison, Banana Nation, Hymn of Siren, Pascalene, Luna's, a.b.s. combo, Oliver Baterina and Leonecast.

You might want to ask Benjo Afuang, the Lord, Big Daddy, Boss, or Top Dog of College Athletics for more info.
