BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

Halikinu Radio Season 6 Episode 1


It was good to be back on the air last night at NU107. I kinda missed gabbing with the team which was without Martin and Mhel (out for scheduling reasons). That Evee, Chuck, members of the Ateneo Track & Field Team, and College Athletics' Benjo Afuang. This time we started ahead of the UAAP opening but I wish we had more time to gab about basketball stuff rather than have other things. Bitin talaga. Before you know it, the hour was up. Well, next week again. Thursdays at 8pm on NU107.
