Fever Pitch is a weekly football show over the http://nmfnetwork.tv/. It will be shown on Wednesday evenings and will also be available as a podcast afterwards. This is something I conceptualized several months back after the Back Four Bums podcast became a little difficult to do because of scheduling concerns. Several months ago I hit it off with Jonah Romero, one of my fave footballers in the UFL. I invited him and his Kaya teammate Nate Burkey to my class in Ateneo and that's how it all began.
This was really made possible because of the terrific help extended by another idol of mine, Basti Artadi. You might have heard him and his band. They go by the name of Wolfgang. For the first episode, we're having Chieffy Caligdong and Tating Pasilan over as guests! We'll also talk to the Pasargad guys and hear why Reza Ataei thinks he's the sexiest goalkeeper in the UFL (his teammate disagrees and thinks he's the craziest -- joke only).
Fever Pitch is 45-minutes long. In this show, we talk about the UFL, UAAP, Azkals, and other football matters. And as much as possible, we'll have weekly guests. We're going to announce at the end of our pilot episode who the guests are for the second episode.
Oh man!! I've been a huge fans of BattleAxeNetwork before everything migrated to NMFNetwork!!! Thank God we now have a show for local football fans!

FYI, when watching the vids using the iPad. Some shows in NMFNETWORK are blurry.
