BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

My first column for ph.nba.com

Here's my first column for ph.nba.com that was written before the current NBA playoffs began so obviously the standings are slightly different. And it's about the San Antonio Spurs. I just finished my second column (about those great playoff comebacks with a twist) that should be up by this Wednesday, May 2, 2012. That should give the Memphis Grizzlies some hope. I think. Hahaha.

And yes, my new stuff will be out every Wednesday. Just click on the bloggers section of the 'NBA Writers' section to read what I wrote. And be sure to check out what my fellow website writers have rolled out for you. There's also a message from NBA Commissioner David Stern regarding the Philippine version of the association's website.
