Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. Liverpool's new kit supplier is Warrior

By June 1, 2012, there will be a new kit supplier for Liverpool Football Club. Boston-based Warrior Sports which is owned by New Balance). Warrior has previously outfitted hockey teams and LFC will be their first foray into football. Adidas, the previous kit supplier, was reported to have backed out of renewing the deal because of the club's poor performance in recent years. But Warrior picked the club up for £25 m for six years. You Never Walk Alone indeed.
