BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

The lineup of Azkals United


Here's the lineup of Azkals United that will play Icheon Citizen on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.
Eduard Sacapaño, Paolo Pascual, Ian Araneta, Misagh Bahadoran, Dennis Wolf, Rob Gier, Roel Gener, Nestor Margarse, Chieffy Caligdong, Angel Guirado, Carli de Murga, Bervic Italia, Anton Albor, Ruben Doctora, Marvin Angeles, Marwin Angeles, and Jerry Barbaso. 

The coaching staff: Michael Weiss, Edwin Cabalida, Roroy Piniero, and Edzel Bracamonte.

    hi sir. I know I dont have the right to question club decisions, but would you know why the rest of the azkals team (from kaya and loyola) are not playing? thanks

    They have a game tomorrow. And the last time that happened, Kaya lost. So they are not taking any chances. Besides it's a charity match.

    it is my utmost wish for these guys to do extremely well later so that they are given the same and fair opportunities in the coming games.
