BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

Ateneo Football League kits


Here are some of the Ateneo Football League kits that we are proposing for the league. For the tournament, the top is a must and for the shorts, you may use any other design that pleases you. It's the tops where we must be uniform. Every team must get a white and a blue kit of one design. For example the design above is in white and another in blue. Teams will wear one color depending on the day. You can choose what shirts you want of course. Orders for shorts are optional. 



Kits are inspired by old Italian, Japan, and French teams not to mention old Ateneo kits. There will be an AFL patch on sleeve while we are reserving the front for sponsors. We intend to give money to a scholarship and some back to the teams.

    where's design #2? :) will we be seeing them tomorrow?

    We're changing design #2. Just the basic designs. Maybe the material we can show. By next week when we begin the sizing for all players then you can check them out. Thanks!!!! See you tomorrow.
