As our politicians and national leaders rattle their sabers and jockey for camera time for Con-Ass and the missing cellphone load, some are still on those ridiculous sex videos. But I guess we should all be thankful that they have not called a special session to debate whether Phil Jackson is the greatest NBA Coach of all time.
Then, borrowing the immortal words of Batholomew Simpson, I'm going to have a cow.
So far it's been a great month of June...Rubilen Amit won the Women's 10-Ball Championship.
Tiger Woods won the Memorial.
Roger Federer won his first French Open to finally secure all four Grand Slams.
The Pittsburgh Penguins came back from a 2-0 hole to beat the Detroit Red Wings (boo hoo).
The Los Angeles Lakers won their 15th NBA title.
And we just had the Ateneo Sesquicentennial Kick-off.
Then Rebound is out next week!
After professing to stay with AC Milan forever, Kaka moves to Real Madrid.
After professing to say that he will stay on with Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo, moves to Real Madrid. Apparently, former Madrid President Ramon Calderon says the deal was sealed over a year ago.
Why Valencia's David Villa isn't going to Madrid? He never professed to staying with his club. He's going elsewhere.
The lesson, don't believe it when they say they're staying with their club. They all belong to the multi-millionaires club that's what.
The best things is life are free but you can give it to the birds and the bees because money is what they want! Whoo-hoo!
Can you blame them?
Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto to end 2009? The fireworks comes early.
As the UAAP season looms, what new stupid rule will they pass? The Soc Rivera Rule has got to be one of the most misguided that the so-called bright minds of the league has ever passed.
For those not familiar with the rule, a UAAP high school player who is thinking of moving to another UAAP college must seek permission for the transfer. If he is not released, then he/she must sit out a year. This is the college ranks, dumbasses. Not the pros.
I think everyone is agreed about red-shriting for college-to-college transfers but high school to college? C'mon.
This is protection for the small schools? FEU is not a small school.
We as a nation not only have questionable national leadership but also in the schools.
