BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. You Make the Call Question #1

As promised, we've got a contest going over here. I'll be putting up, one question a day (for five straight days) based on actual sports facts. You have to figure out what the call was or what transpired afterwards by sending me the answers via email to bleachersbrew@gmail.com. No posting of answers on the shoutbox!

You may choose to send your answers one at a time or send them in one blast. No cheating here! We will be picking out three (3) winners will receive a Goody Bag of various sports stuff.

You Make the Call #1
#1 In 1990, New York Knicks guard Trent Tucker received the ball with .1 one-tenths of second left in the game to hit a shot against the Chicago Bulls. Was the shot upheld by the referees? You make the call.
