BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

List of prohibited items during the World Cup Qualifying match between the Philippines and Sri Lanka on July 3

Kindly take not of the list of prohibited items for the upcoming match on July 3, 2011 at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium. Ticketworld will also be publishing this as well as all media agencies so best take not now rather than be inconvenienced. Security will be very strict in enforcing this I am told. If you can also spread this notice to others that would be most appreciated.

  9. In the light of what isn't allowed, I'd reco you just place those items in your bag. Let me know how else I may assist you. Kindly send me email at bleachersbrew@gmail.com Thanks! And good luck to our team.

  10. i'm all good with all these restricted items. para ma-enjoy natin talaga ang game, walang ibang distractions. ayaw ko naman makipag-away di ba kung may taong nakapayong sa harap ko at bina-block niya ang view! raincoat na lang ang dalhin para sa ulan.
