I heard that there is this college basketball team that is plagued by internal corruption. See here, their coaches and manager take a percentage of the team’s allowances which isn’t much to begin with. All the players have are just transportation and food allowances and then they have the gall to pilfer from it. To make even more money, the coaches and their manager sell their stocks of Gatorade then ask the school to reimburse them using fake receipts. It's the same with the money given by alumni who have no clue that their funds are misused. Double earnings! Wow. Think that’s enough? They also use budgets allotted by the school for team building sessions and outings for their personal needs. Hey, I got me a nice new iPad 2 and an iPhone/Blackberry. It’s good to be the coach (and manager). Imagine how their players feel. When I look at the coaches and their team managers, I shake my head in dismay. What makes it even worse is that this team has been shafted also by their previous two coaches as well. Those two other coaches are now in other programs. Wonder if there's some shit going on there as well. Your sainted coaches are actually crooks. Oh, hey, I hear they also organized their own basketball clinics (outside Manila) using these extra funds.
Here's another one. A couple of years ago, there was this Athletic Director from another school who would use school funds to even buy fake shoes from the tiangge in Greenhills then pocket the savings. He also inflated budgets and pocketed the difference. He was found out and never reported back. First time job as AD and he blows it big time. But he also pulled the same MO on others in another business. He is no longer connected to this school.
Ey Rick ! This nothing new! Remember the football coach from an Iloilo school? Here ..."then ask the school to reimburse them using fake receipts. Double earnings! " ... this is exactly the same MO that he does and more..! What hypocrites!
