Introducing my new kicks -- Nike Zoom Triax!

This is the first time in five years that I bought a pair of Nike kicks. I wanted to get the Lunarglide + or the Air Max + 2010. Regarding the first shoe, they didn't have any size 11s which is my shoes size (American). The second they did have but the price of the pair is a whopping PhP8,200!!! There's a lot I can do with that amount -- like buy two pairs of really nice kicks.

I did try the blue Hyperfuse since I've started to play basketball again. The problem with that it is too narrow. I've got big and long feet so it hurts my feet if it narrows towards the toe area.

What do I look for in a pair of kicks? Several things -- cushioning (comfortability), stability, weight (it's gotta be light), style, and price. With that in mind, I purchased out the Zoom Triax shoe (pictured above). It's a running shoe. There wasn't any cross-trainer that I liked.

So on a scale of 1-10 -- with 10 being the top score -- how would I grade it (I wore it tonight going to NU 107 for Halikinu Radio)?
cushioning -- 8
stability -- 8
weight -- 10
style -- 7
price -- 10! And only because it's discounted or else at the retail price of 5K plus I'd give it an eight.

Shoes are just so darn expensive. And wait 'til you see the prices for football shoes. Now they cost more than anything out there. Ahem. I'm saving up, you see. At Php4,400 (discounted price), it's not a bad buy at all.

How does it stack up to the adidas Tirand III that I really love -- close. The Tirand suits be just fine that I am planning on getting another pair. Buying the Tirand was like hand in glove. The moment I eased my foot inside the shoe, it's was like Tony Stark to his Mark II armor. Perfect.

But I am going to love the Zoom Triax. Happy feet are go.
