BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

2) Will the Chicago Bulls ever land a marquee star?
3) Will we ever rid the Philippines of corruption?
4) Will the New York Yankees win the World Series this year?
5) Will they ever bring back Joss Whedon's Firefly?
6) Will my papers to France ever be fixed in my lifetime?
7) Do I have a shot at writing an X-Men comic book?
8) Should I go back to New York?
9) Ya think I got a chance with Jessica Gomes?
10) Boxers or briefs?
