BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

Thanks, people!

Bleachers' Brew has been around for over a year now, but we only started to keep track of statistics by the end of September. That means we missed a huge chunk of stats right in the middle of the UAAP season.

Nevertheless we've held firm in the post-UAAP period.

The Brew has had over 13,000 visits in 45 days.
We've had 4,125 absolute unique visitors from 51 different countries. We even get hits from Afghanistan, Croatia, Belize, Romania, Czech Republic, Russia, Poland, Iraq, and Iran!

God really is good.
