BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

Got my new Warrior Liverpool 2014-15 Steven Gerrard shirt



Got my new Liverpool 2014-15 jersey with Steven Gerrard's name and number on the back (with the Premier League patches on the side) from Warrior. This is the third year that the American outfitter is with the Merseyside club and I have to say that I love their kits. They sure brought a lot of pizzazz to LFC's apparel with their sense of design and nod towards the club's history.

This is my second jersey with the captain's name on it. 

Now to get Coutinho's kit.
