BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

*pps – ave. points per set

ADMU 71 converted an average of 12.60pps while ADMU 76 made 13.33pps but if you look at the individual scorers, it was evenly distributed for ADMU 71 while sa ADMU 76 most were made by Alyssa & Amy.

ADMU 71 relied heavily on their rookies while ADMU 76 banked on their veterans.

Here are my thoughts on the Season 76 opener between Ateneo and NU. Just click on the link.

Here's a podcast of the Fab Five from a little over a year ago. Thanks for pointing this out, Dzi! Hahaha
