BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

Details on the benefit game between La Salle and San Beda for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda:


Here is the FINAL DATE of the battle of champions/benefit game for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. December 7 (Saturday) 12 noon at the Araneta Coliseum - La Salle vs San Beda. it will be played right before the PBA game at 330pm. There will not be any Juniors game as previously announced. 


Ticket prices: Patron P1,000 Lower Box P500 Upper A P300 Upper B P150. The tickets to bleachers will cost P20 only and be sold at the respective schools.
