BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

The Back Four Bums Pilot Ep Part2

We'd really like to thank all of you for listening to the first ever podcast of The Back Four Bums. We hope you had as much fun listening to it as we worked on it. This second part of the pilot episode finds us talking about our Beckham moments, the Azkals who made a difference this year, Elmer Bedia's proposal, the UFL Cup, and our favorite clubs. Watch for our Christmas podcast that will be hosted by Bob Guerrero. The New Year's ep will be hosted by Ebong while the one after that will be anchored by Cedelf. The hosting will be on a rotation basis. We look forward to hear from all of you about our podcasts. Muchos gracias!

  4. I agree! Best jersey has to be Kaya FC. Ang needs to be improved yung Loyola Meralco Sparks. No hint of their Ateneo roots ang jersey tapos ang panget pa nung pagka-Orange.

And Mr.Bob G...you're a Man City fan?!!!! Waaah! APart from Silva, I can't stand that team.

nice to know Sir Ebong and Mr.Cedelf love Barca. They truly play a beautiful style of football. At di sila mashadong matatangkad. Can relate ang mga Pinoy. hehe

P.S. ang pogi ng voice ni Sir Ebong hehe

  5. sir ebong, naka-identify ako sanyo. i've only been a barca fan since 2010 but i'd also wake up really early in the morning to watch their games. at kahit mukha akong engot screaming silently, jumping up and down my couch when they score, sobrang saya parin kahit mag-isa lang ako nanonood. salamat din sa AKTV for showing the El Clasico live. di ko na kelangan magtiis sa choppy na streaming.
