BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

Kung Fu Panda ain't got nothing on Kevin Prince Boateng (Milan wins Super Cup over Intermilan)

AC Milan beat Intermilan in the Italin Super Cup held at Beijing after Kevin Prince Boateng scored off a rebound of an Alex Pato miss. But you gotta love Boateng's post-goal celebration. My son is doing cartwheels coz Milan won (he's a Rossoneri fan as well as a Gooner). No word if Boateng will replace Chris Tucker in the next installment of Rush Hour with Jacky Chan.


Wonder how Inter feels to see former striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic lift a record sixth trophy for Milan.

    Losing against Milan is always hard to digest for every Neroazzurris.....Zlatan is a mercenary lol ( went to barca to win the CL daw but WE won the Title lol)
