Albeit a Red Devil fan, I have to agree. Deserved Red Card on Stevie G. Lousy penalty call by Howard.

As to how Mr. Webb was able to officiate the World Cup Final in the first place completely baffles me.
ReplyDeleteHis performance there (*karate kick!) SHOULD have convinced the FA that this bloke is no big game referee.
And his latest big game cock-up gifted Man U the win.
Playing in OT is tough enough 11 on 11. But to have 12 men (Webb and Berba up front) against 10, that is just asking for a cricket score.
It is a testament to how Liverpool played that the score is only 1-0.
That said, come on.
BTW, he looks good in a Man U shirt. Probably should wear it out there in the pitch next time.
