BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

AC Milan vs. Real Madrid 2-2



This was a thrilling game of football between AC Milan and Real Madrid in the current Champions League campaign. Both clubs have played well this year with the infusion of new blood and new coaches. And as good as Cristiano Ronaldo is I hate his penchant for flopping and acting. You have to watch the video carefully to see what a ham he is. As for Pippo Inzaghi, his days poaching goals for Milan might be over. He tore up his knee in this match.

    i wonder why ESPN stopped showing the champions league? maybe because england's teams (and yeah, they are obviously ass-kissing england all the time) aren't winning the championship lately.

    I love Real Madrid FC team and for that reason I've participated in Real Madrid signed Shirt Prize Draw.I hope i can wear it in there next match.
