BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

The NBA Finals on Solar TV & BTV

If the Los Angeles Lakers hold serve in the first two games, it's theirs. If Boston takes a game then look to the Celtics to take it in 6.

    Gusto ko lang iparating sa mga kinauukolan.

    subscriber ako ng CIgnal - which carry BTV channel - habang na nood ako gn NBA Finals napansin ko lang na sobrang haba ng commercial nila every time out eh di ba 1minute lang ang full time our kahit nga yung 20sec time out nila - ang commercial break ay umaabot sa 4- to 5 minutes. nakaka inis lang kasi sobrang haba considering na sinasabi nilag live yun? kaya pag bumalik na sa game ay naka pag umpisa na sila, and kahit nga sa game mismo may commercial pa, like na cover pa nila ang score ng game...
    Sobrang gahaman naman sa pera ng Solar entertainment .... sana sa Channel 9 na alng sila nag commercial at hindi sa BTV, dahil nagbayad kami ng subscription eh yung sa channel 9 free to air yun....

    Sana umabot sa NBA league ang ginagawa nitong Solar....
