Took the picture above at the Marcelo B. Fernan Bridge that connects Lapu Lapu and Mandaue Cities. The race began with not much light yet and by the time the runners made their way up this picturesque suspension bridge, the sun was peeking out. I thought it made for a beautiful contrast. The picture below was when we were getting started. This was the 10K batch of runners that had caught up with my slow pace. At this point I was getting frustrated. I tried to run a bit but since I was carrying two cameras I thought it was crazy. So at one point, I stopped and hitched on board the ABS CBN vehicle to cover the run properly. Shooting on the fly. Learning how to fly.
