BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. Big Bucks Knickerbocker

Tracy McGrady in his debut with the New York Knicks. 26 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 steal in 32 minutes of action but the Knicks fell 121-188 to the streaking Seattle Supersonics. Oh, sorry. Oklahoma City Thunder. Now it's time to get some wins. Hey, T-Mac. The Knicks' colors look good on you.
