BLEACHERS BREW EST. MAY 2006

Someone asked me how my blog and newspaper column came to be titled "Bleachers Brew". It's like this, it's an amalgam of sorts of two things: The bleachers area in the stadium/arena where I used to sit when I would watch baseball, football, and basketball games and Miles Davis' great jazz album Bitches Brew. That's how it got culled together. I originally planned on calling it "The View from the Big Chair" that is a nod to Tears For Fear's second album, Songs from the Big Chair. So there.

Just a few more pics from the 2010 Ateneo Sports Calendar

I can post the sample layouts next week (in low res form) so you may take a look at them. Sorry I have so much on my plate this week that I can't even write much for my newspaper or magazines more so adding stuff here on the blog so these will have to suffice in the meantime. On top, it's the women's judo team, then Paulo Luz of the Men's Judo team and Fille from women's volleyball. If you're asking who does well in front of the camera: Fille, Gretch, and Dzi from volleyball, Soy from the men's track team, Eric Salamat from the men's basketball team, Gico and Katsy from the battalion. Hahaha A career in modeling perhaps? The camera loves them is all I can say.
