I was going to post my Business Mirror article on the upcoming NBA Draft but I've been busy with work and the upcoming Ateneo Sesquicentennial kick-off this Sunday June 14. The draft thingie I'll put up next week.
I am one of 10 people asked by the school to provide video streaming of the day's events that span from the old campuses in Intramuros and Padre Faura all the way to the current Salcedo, Rockwell, Medical City, and Loyola Heights campuses. Smart provided us with mobile phones to augment the main video streaming so we're working like correspondents from the time we leave Ateneo for Manila. You will find all this video streaming at ateneo.edu.
I'll be in the same shuttle as Fr. Ben Nebres and other top ADMU officials. Honestly, I'm excited about this. I'll be taking pictures of everything and you'll see that here in Brew and in the11-11pages.
My pop was a frosh in college at the time of the Centennial and he's also excited to be attending the celebrations. Back then it was pretty simple, Holy Mass, parade, bonfire, and eats. Dudes, four generations of my family went to this school. How cool is that?
Now, well, it's gone high-tech.
Now, well, it's gone high-tech.
With all the work I'm doing, I'm actually behind in my other requirements for the school. Damn. It will take about two weeks before I get up to speed with everything.
The meeting at Xavier Hall isn't even done but I had to leave for another meeting. I'll post more stuff later on the celebration.
Gotta jump to another meeting. Whew.
