Four botched calls might have altered this World Cup. It turns out that Yuichi Nishimura has had other rough spots in international competition. During the 2008 African Nations Cup, he was physically shoved by Angolan players who disagreed with one of his calls. He didn't send off anyone of them at all.
Two years later, Congolese fans also miffed at allegedly some bad calls that hurt their team mistakenly vandalized a Chinese restaurant.
According to J-League fans, Nishimura has a penchant for awarding dubious penalties.
The question therefore is, how on earth did this guy make it to the South Africa and Brazil World Cups?
