In the scheme of a PBA game, it might
seem inconsequential but if you are from Ateneo like me, it is truly a geek
moment. When Emman Monfort entered the game for Ginebra at 8:26 mark of the
third quarter in their match versus San Mig Coffee last Sunday, November 17,
that was the first time the starting
point guard and center for two different Blue Eagle teams were on the floor at
the same time for the same team!
Who was on the court?
LA Tenorio and Japeth Aguilar (2005)
and Emman Monfort and Greg Slaughter (2012). The fifth Ginebra player in the
game at that point was Chris Ellis.
