In the video above, I took some shots of the final seconds of Game Three of the 2013 PBA Commissioner's Cup as the Alaska Aces swept Barangay Ginebra in three. Over the past three years, I have tried to cover the Aces as extensively as possible (and when available). That's me holding up the trophy -- Alaska's 14th!

Tony de la Cruz has been one of my favorite basketball players even when he was with Shell. This one was a long time coming. Should have gotten it three conferences ago but it never happened. After Game Three, the time was just right.
When I would go to the Ironman triathlon events, Alaska CEO and boss Fred Uytengsu would shoot me looks when I'd wear an Olsen Racela San Miguel jersey or a Noy Baclao Air21 jersey. Now I can go to an Alaska event and wear this.

ReplyDelete1. Luigi Trillo - I believe he was the coach who took control of the UE Red Warriors team that went 0-14 in one season. Hopefully, this latest feat makes people forget about that when they look at him as a coach.
2. JVee Casio - after so many heartbreaks (from La Salle, to Gilas, to Powerade), this hardworking guy has finally felt, once again, what it means to be a champion.
