The United Football League is postponing the UFL Cup Finals
between Global and Stallion slated for Monday, November 19 to a later date in
order to assist the Philippine Men’s Football National Team that is in the
final stages of its preparations for the Suzuki Cup.
The postponement will give our national players ample time for
training and recovery most especially after that momentous 1-0 win over
Singapore yesterday.
This also gives this Philippine Football Federation ample time
to make proper arrangements for the refurbishing of the Rizal Memorial Football
Stadium in the event that our national team advances to the semifinals that is
a home and away series with another country.
Please find the temporary dates for the UFL Cup Finals based on
how our national team fares in the group stages of the Suzuki Cup:
· December 4 (Tuesday)
· December 15 (Saturday)
· December 30 (Sunday)
The UFL
