Scenes from yesterday's UFL Cup matches at UMak

In the first match of the triple-header at the University of Makati, Army FC garroted Garruda FC 11-0 with goals coming from Luisito Briliantes, Ric Becite, Boogie Margarse, Roel Gener, and a few others. It was such a mismatch but I have to complement the Indonesians for their sportsmanship and superb effort despite the blowout. Even after the game it seemed like they won it as they were cheering, singing, and basically keeping their heads high. In the second half, Army went to their bench while some of the starters went to the showers. I was yelling for Ed Sacapano to move to the outfield.

Pre-kickoff huddle for Pachanga. Was talking with Patrick Deyto during the match (he was made unavailable for the UFL Cup with DLSU competing in the upcoming Uni-Games). He confirmed what many have said -- that Yves Ashime is the glue that holds this team together.

Chieffy Caligdong playing around right before the match between Air Force and Laos FC. The Airmen won the match.
