Tips for playing in the AFL

Tips for playing in the AFL:
1. Make sure you have at least 12 players on game days. You’ll find out that an 8-man rotation is a killer and a sure way to get your butts kicked.
2. Hydrate, man. Hydrate. Do it before the game and during the game. And so, bring lots of water or Gatorade. We provide some free Gatorade but it’s not enough for all.
3. Stretch. Warm-up. Take it seriously. Recreational leagues often have the most number of injuries. In Day 1 of the AFL, there were more injuries than in the entire UAAP Season 72 football tournament. Remember you get fit to play. It is not the other way around.
4. Wear your shin guards. There’s a reason why you need it.
5. Bring a foldable chair, a banig or something you’re comfortable to sit and relax on.
6. Dudes, this is the beautiful game. Let's all be cool on the field.
