Make a list and check it twice -- SLAM's 500 Best NBA players of all time

I recall in 1997, Slam magazine answered the NBA's 50 Greatest Players of All Time with one of their own. I agreed with what this New York-based mag did rank the players better because the NBA's version that came out in a coffeetable book had Shaquille O'Neill (when he had done nothing at that point) and missed out on a few guys like Dominique Wilkins and Adrian Dantley. Now fourteen years later.... there's this new list they've made. I enjoyed reading the list and although I disagreed with the ranking of some I thought that it makes for great chit chat.
