Right before the start of the UAAP Football season, UE Head Coach Lloyd Lim was diagnosed with cancer. It was a shock to him and to all because he was healthy and all. Once he learned he was sick, his body simply started to deteriorate as if he had given up. His body is not responding to the treatment and it's causing him not only a lot of pain but also a lot in medical bills.

We are inviting all past and present footballers to attend the "Pass the Hat for Coach Lloyd Lim" Benefit Football Game on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the La Salle Greenhills pitch. Game time is at 6pm. Entrance is P100 and proceeds will go to the treatment of Coach Lloyd. Additional contributions will be much appreciated.

On the topic of football, Indonesian football fans are plain excited about the upcoming World Cup. In the picture above, they gathered in downtown Jakarta (in the rotunda) dressed and made up in the colors of different countries participating in the Finals.
