What did he say?

Sports is life and life is sports. It has been a crazy, unnerving, eye-popping, and bewildering two weeks for sports all over the world. Reading between the headlines, I’ve been trying to make sense of things. They are most probably disjointed and unrelated but at the end of the day, I am reminded of the Three Stooges and their immortal quote when things get confusing, “What did he say?”

"Joke or not, I now recognize that what I did was a mistake and was wrong.”[i]

“I would never intentionally harm or endanger a player.”[ii]

“He had to have someone hit with an axe before he booked anybody in that game.”[iii]
