The honeymoon period long over, David Beckham’s American adventure is slowly turning out to be a nightmare.
He began his American sojourn on the injured list then when he returned it was a bad LA Galaxy team that missed the playoffs for yet another year. He then tried to flee for Milan and ripped in America for doing so. Galaxy teammate Landon Donovan said nasty things about him in his book on the eve of his return Stateside. England coach turns up the heat by saying the only way he will be included in the Three Lions’ World Cup line-up if he returns to Europe. And now, the former toast of LA Shaquille O’Neal is calling him out and has engaged him in a running feud.
After Beckham denied Shaq's challenge to score a goal on him on the Cleveland center’s television show “Shaq Vs.” ("I don't see him calling Kobe out. ... I think Kobe could score against him"), the Big Aristotle fired back. "There's no way you'd score on me. ... How many goals did you score for the Galaxy?"
"Dear david beckham, I know u heard about my shaq vs show, anyway u will never score a goal on me, I challenge you lil man."
"David beckham I kno u hear me, dnt be scared, dnt make me call u out, u will never score a goal on me."
"Dear david beckham, dnt make me tweet to 2 million people that yur scared of shaq, u betta respnd, if u scared get a dog."
"Its official, today is david beckham is scared of shaq, day, he should b scared, he can never score a goal on me."
So now, it’s a word war and Becks is in the midst of another controversy.
And oh, his wife, Posh Spice, is not Hollywood material.
