Whatta win! Tttttthhhheeeee Yankees win!

Yesterday, Saturday, I was glued to ESPN watching the New York Yankees play the Minnesota Twins at the new Stadium. I haven't watched the Yanks in a while and it was difficult to write with a match in progress. Unfortunately, except for a solo Derek Jeter home run not much was going New York's way. I had to content myself to saying, "It sure is nice to see Paul O'Niell and David Cone back in the Yankee broadcaster's booth."

Until another incredible rally that I hope will finally put them on a winning groove. That come from behind victory sure set up a nice and similar version by the RP Team yesterday.

Oh, yes. I slept soundly for only five hours on a really soft and comfy bed.

Then when I woke up, Alex Rordiguez' hit a two-run HR to win New York's second consecutive match against the Twins 6-4. That was the Third baseman's eighth walk-off home run of his career. And a mighty one at that for not only did it raise his batting average after a slow start but it gave his club a 19-17 record.

Ah, baseball...

Okay, now I'm off to the swimming pool and the sauna (part of my daily routine here in Jakarta) content like anything.
