FIFA president Sepp Blatter said on Monday he was deeply disappointed with South Africa's recent results and said time was running out for the hosts to be competitive by the 2010 World Cup finals.

South Africa's 1-0 home defeat by Nigeria earlier this month has left them all but out of contention to qualify for the 2010 Nations Cup finals in Angola. The team were also beaten 1-0 by Guinea in a home friendly last Tuesday.

South Africa, who have employed 15 different coaches for the national side in 16 years since readmission to the FIFA ranks, have steadily slid down the rankings, from a high of 16 soon after their Nations Cup success to their current 70.

Well, why was it awarded to SA in the first place, Blatter?

The JRU Heavy Bombers survived San Sebastian's last ditch rally to book a place in the NCAA Final Four where they have a chance to clinch the second seed and its twice-to-beat advantage. Now they face Letran.

It's a war of words for now but in a little over two weeks, Kimbo Slice and Ken Shamrock will try to beat the crap out of each other in EliteXC's Oct. 4 fight card.

"Was Bo Cantrell tired in 19 seconds?" Asked Slice. "Was Tank (Abbott) tired in 43 seconds?"

"Keep counting your record," replied Shamrock.

"Keep counting your losses," Slice returned.

Someone's leg is going to get broken here.
